Siemens & Solenvis metering project in Portsmouth
Siemens and Solenvis have recently completed an extensive metering project at the Royal Dockyards in Portsmouth. Over a period of 15 months we have supplied and installed over 200 meters, including heat meters - clamp-on and inline – water meters and gas meters.
The joint venture offering meter and monitoring solutions for electrical, gas, steam, water and heat meters with all specification, installation and commissioning, was successfully taken through tender for selection by the UK Government and BAE Systems in this exciting project.
A range of applications was surveyed, specified and installed in vastly different buildings across a very busy and very old establishment. With tight deadlines throughout the winter install period, there was minimal disruption to staff and services and the entire site team managed the rollout effectively within the project constraints.
