Solenvis carry out a meter upgrade project at Oxford University

One of the new research buildings was not functioning efficiently from a control point of view and so Solenvis were selected to assist with fault diagnosis and setting up a new control strategy. We installed six SL1 portable non-invasive, clamp-on heatmeters onto some key CHW and LTHW applications to produce high frequency data simultaneously, to record system variation as the building controls were changed. Solenvis supplied and installed equipment, collected data and presented it to the customer throughout a six month exercise.

The Bodleian Library and Science Park areas consist of many different types of buildings with different issues in each building. Oxford University needed a specialist to assess how energy was being used / wasted; Solenvis were proud to be chosen to supply products and services for these historic buildings.

After carrying out an extensive survey, recommendations were made to the site team for supply and fit solutions for conventional inline and non-invasive metering. The SL3 non-invasive heatmeter was selected with the SL51 Itron CF51 energy integrator. Over 40 meters were installed and commissioned.
